Recently we ventured to a drained-out ditch with some DIY obstacles built by the locals. Cracked, painted, and full of life—it was a dream to me. A canvas of imperfection, waiting to be explored through skating and self-expression.

The perfect backdrop for my latest design, “Grow With It.”
It’s all about growing through the trial.

Because growth doesn’t happen in perfect spaces.
Not in clean lines—
but in broken ones.

It’s a tale as old as time: to grow, something in us has to die.
This session was about finding life in a decaying ditch.
A place to be free.
To let go of what others think.
To breathe for a moment without being watched.

Huge thanks to:

  • Parker DeMoux for skating the unthinkable

  • Mike Kunde, For shooting this project—Legit legend with the lens.

  • Josh Robinson, for pushing a broom and pushing the vibe

  • And to the locals—who gave that ditch character, texture, and soul.
Creative grounds like this deserve respect.
